Hi there!

I'm Emily, and I'm so glad to meet you.

I lived in Washington, D.C., Los Angeles and New York City before I married Andrew on a hot June day in 2013 and finally settled down in Virginia. We're enjoying life as newlyweds as we work to create our own little homestead here. We added an adorable fox red Labrador Retriever to our family six months after we tied the knot. His name is Admiral Byrd. He's a ham.

In 2015, one day after our second wedding anniversary, we welcomed our precious son into the world. We are completely besotted first time parents and just marvel at this sweet little boy!

We love the beauty of the outdoors (especially the ocean), traveling together, watching Duck Dynasty, and eating really good food. We'd probably have a lot in common with you if we met for dinner!

I am so proud to be Andrew's wife. He loves me fiercely day after day. I'd swear up one side and down the other that the smartest decision I ever made was to marry him.

Follow along on our journey! We'll try to have some fun along the way. I'm a big believer in fun.
